Well, here I am.... on my last day in Tucson. If you had told me 5 months ago that I would be moving to Portland in August, I would have thought that was crazy. Sure, I've always wanted to live in Oregon and sure, I thought that I would live there someday. BUT this year, I didn't really think that was part of my plan yet. Surprise surprise though, my plans were changed.
I am filled with so many mixed emotions today. Last night I said goodbye to some very good friends and then as I was driving back to the east side, I felt so nostalgic. Tucson has been good to me.... REALLY good to me. I have met so many wonderful people and had so many good times. Whether or not I come back, Tucson will always be home.
That being said, I am so excited for a new adventure, a fresh start, a new beginning! I can't wait to see where this new journey takes me.
